New Competitive Intelligence Strategies Featured at SLAM 2006 Conference

CI RADAR, an innovative leader in integrated competitive intelligence and web presence analysis services, today announced Mark Van Laeke, CI RADAR President and CEO, will present a keynote address on competitive intelligence strategies at the SLAM 2006 Conference (Sales, Licensing, Alliances and Marketing for Software Companies), held April 11-12 in Chicago, Illinois.

The SLAM 2006 conference features more than 25 sessions and exhibits targeting strategies for sales, marketing, partnering, licensing and related issues facing software company executives. On April 12, Mr. Van Laeke will discuss state-of-the-art strategies for acquiring effective competitive intelligence and web marketing information in software and technology markets.

“We’re excited to be part of the SLAM 2006 event”, said Mr. Van Laeke. “Software executives recognize the value of competitive intelligence, but many have become frustrated with the cost and time demands associated with traditional intelligence gathering. Fortunately there are new techniques and technologies that make it easy to track competitor activity in unprecedented detail and scope. Using these methods, companies can stay a step ahead of rivals and improve their marketing and revenue results.”

"SLAM 2006 is a uniquely powerful event for the software market and we’re really pleased to have Mark Van Laeke as a featured speaker", said conference chairman John Cargile. “Our attendees and exhibitors alike are excited about the possibilities the event will offer, including great networking and relationship-building opportunities with senior-level market contacts."
